Why do brands still need influencer marketing? Back in 2015 Adweek had an article that mentioned Influencer Marketing. They counted it as one of the most interesting up and coming ways to reach consumers directly. Brands were benefiting because there were a surplus of influencers in 2015 and it was an arbitrage which meant “a chance to make a large profit with a small effort.”

The same article mentioned influencer marketing was great for Google search and SEO and that influencer marketing is trackable and targetable.

Cut to the present 2018 and it’s more important than ever to embrace influencer marketing. Brands and corporations have budgets for influencer marketing. Influencers are continuing to engage with their audiences, brands and corporations have no choice, but to find a way to manage their influencer campaigns and incorporate the programs into their busy schedules.
